Refugee Resources

CORE developed the following resources to increase and enhance communications touch points with refugees during the resettlement journey and to harmonize Cultural Orientation messaging across the resettlement continuum.

CORE’s refugee communications digital platforms (website, mobile app, SMS) offer resources in multiple media formats (fact sheets, podcasts, videos) and in multiple languages. These platforms and resources prioritize visual simplicity and design clarity, low-literacy and low digital literacy needs, and cultural and linguistic adaptability.

For Refugees

To learn more about the resettlement process and life in the United States, visit the CORE Resettlement Navigator site and download the Settle In app on your mobile phone. The content is available in Arabic, Burmese, Dari, English, Farsi, Kinyarwanda, Russian, Swahili, and Somali.

If you need help using these resources, ask your Resettlement Agency or Resettlement Support Center for assistance.

For Cultural Orientation Providers

CORE’s resources for refugees can be accessed independently by clients or as part of a Resettlement and Placement program. This page provides more information about the available resources and how to integrate them into your Cultural Orientation.
